Kenyans win the third edition of Numaligarh Marathon

3,700 runners took part in the 3rd edition of the Numaligarh Marathon this Sunday,  organized by Numaligarh Refinery Limited to promote the mantra of “Run to keep fit”.

James Ndii Nyawira (1:13:26) and Cecilih Wangui (1:39:13) of Kenya took the half marathon podium in men’s and women’s races respectively.

The event saw participation from sports enthusiasts from the neighbourhood of the refinery, NRL employees and their families. The event included a half marathon, 10K and 5K runs.

Numaligarh is a town in the Golaghat district of Assam, India.
